About The Book

The Adventures of Auggie Otter:
‘It’s Okay To Be You’
When Auggie Otter realizes that the other sea creatures might see him as a bit different, he becomes worried. The things he enjoys doing the most, like collecting and sorting shells and spinning around to find calmness, seem to be the reasons why the other children don’t like him. As Auggie explores the underwater world, his mother teaches him that each of us is unique and special and that ‘It’s Okay To Be You.’
This book is for anyone who has ever felt judged or mocked because they’re different. Follow the loveable Auggie as you flip through the beautifully illustrated pages to understand that everyone has their own way of doing things. Learn that our differences are what make us who we are, and it’s absolutely okay to be yourself.

'The Adventures of Auggie Otter: ‘It’s Okay To Be You’ helped my daughter understand that it is completely okay to be different and that she should embrace this version of herself. She loves it when I read the book to her and always compares herself to Auggie, which warms my heart. Beautiful read!

'The Adventures of Auggie Otter: ‘It’s Okay To Be You’ is a wonderful book to teach kids a positive lesson at a very early age. The book is both entertaining and educational, and the illustrations are eye-catching! I highly recommend this book to other parents.
